The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a critical part of UCHSK, providing parents, carers and the broader community with informal, friendly and accessible ways to contribute to all aspects of school life. It is set up to foster communication between parents, the school and the community.
In 2021, we hope to work with the school to increase voluntary contributions and bring in money through our own efforts to help fund some exciting projects that the school could otherwise not afford. These projects could include:
- sports gear which may include crash mats, basketball hoops and Warehouse Circus equipment
- IT gadgetry for virtual reality and other add-ons to the Chromebooks
- maths manipulatives and other classroom resources
- landscape enhancements which may include shade structures, improved seating and new plants
- extra and lower cost incursions to bring inspiring leaders into the school
Help us with fundraising throughout the year by donating container returns to us. Simply keep all of your eligible drink containers and choose us for your donations when taking them to a return point by donating to account: 0261702617 (the Kaleen postcode twice). Every returned container earns 10c towards our fundraising goals. You’ll also be helping the environment by reducing litter and landfill.
The P&C meets twice a term, on Wednesdays of week 3 and week 8, at 5:45pm in the school library. All members of the school community are welcome to attend the meetings.
